H. Moser & Cie. introduced a new watch combining its mechanical mastery with a stealthy dial: the Endeavour Flyback Chronograph Dual Time Date.
H. Moser is known for its minimalistic displays, and the new H. Moser Endeavour Flyback Chronograph Dual Time Date watch is a case in point. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot going on under the surface of its sunburst-patterned turquoise fumé dial.
The new timepiece has a chronograph, but no sub dials for its counters. Instead, the watch has two central hands—one red and one rhodium-plated—that point to the minute track at the dial’s edge. The rhodium-plated hand marks the elapsed minutes, while the red hand indicates the seconds. The tachymeter scale’s design is inspired by measuring instruments and adds to the dial’s understated look.
Time to Travel
The new watch has easily discernible leaf-shaped hour and minute hands and a central rotating dark gray Blackor fumé disc functions at the watch’s second time zone indicator. A small white arrow on the disc points to the second time zone. The watch’s hour and minute hands, as well as the arrow’s tip, are coated with Superluminova so they can be easily read in the dark.

The Endeavour Flyback Chronograph Dual Time Date is powered by the HMC 730, a new manually wound column wheel flyback chronograph made by Moser partner Agenhor. The HMC 730 movement is based on Moser’s existing automatic winding HMC 902 flyback chronograph, which was also created by Agenhor.
The new HMC 730 caliber “reinterprets the architecture of the HMC 902 in a hand-wound version,” according to the brand. This was “a decision that opens up a new arena for mechanical freedom and makes it possible to integrate the Dual Time display and the date within the available space.” In order to convert the movement, Agenhor removed its oscillating weight and automatic winding system.

Double Barrel
The HMC 730 has a double barrel and delivers a minimum power reserve of 72 hours when fully wound. A power reserve indicator is on the watch’s movement side and can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back. The movement’s height is 7.2 millimeters, and it is composed of 383 components and 49 jewels. The watch’s case is stainless steel, and its strap is made of gray alligator leather with a matte nubuck finish.
Wherever its owner may travel, the new Endeavour Flyback Chronograph Dual Time Date is sure to deliver precision timekeeping. The watch is “a true invitation to travel,” according to the brand. It is “a complex watch that refuses to appear complicated.”
